Isha is a challenge-driven professional with 10+ years’ experience in leading technology based enterprises with strong partnership building, project management and evaluation, business development, senior administration and strategic communications skills across the private and public sectors. Her experience spans post-secondaries, industry associations, not-for-profit organizations and social enterprises. She has significant experience in securing funding ($4M+) from all levels of government, private sector and donors to build and grow multi-institutional partnerships for research, training and commercialization.

As a leader in the development and scaling of high-priority strategic initiatives, Isha’s work focuses on creating interdisciplinary collaborations based on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, clean energy and extended reality. When she’s not leading change in her professional work, Isha can be found supporting her kids in their entrepreneurial ventures from selling art to raking lawns.

Her favorite XR experience so far has been the Craniofacial anatomy simulation developed by the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab at the University of Alberta.
