We believe Alberta can be an international hub for the XR industry. That is why we created ELIXR!
ELIXR brings together Albertans who are passionate about XR— Researchers, developers, students... Anyone who sees the potential of this technology and wants to be part of building a strong ecosystem so the XR industry can flourish in Alberta.
We have a vision of how we can make this a reality. Through the ELIXR Network, Protégé Program, and ELIXR Marketplace we can increase mainstream awareness of XR, create opportunities to produce more content, and increase revenue for R&D. These different pieces will work together to produce a virtuous cycle of progress and growth.
It’s not going to happen overnight but if we do the work, it will put our province at the leading edge of the global XR industry. This will open Alberta and Canada up to all the benefits that come along with being innovators and pioneers.
